since a buddy and I are flying out of miami on the 27th but no parties have been announced on the 26th, we're thinking about renting a car and driving through the keys or something. does anyone have any suggestions for where to drive around miami/southern florida for a day?

Re: florida
Too bad your not flying out until the 31st homie. We are throwing a post-WMC event on Friday the 30th, in Orlando. Mr. James is on the bill...
Let me know what you are interested in doing down in the Keys. It's a good place for conch, yellow tail snapper and booooooze. The two best resteraunts on the way down - Fish House (Largo) get the Sauteed Yellow Tail Snapper - and Mangrove Momma's which is on Sugarloaf Key (I'll have to find out which mile marker). They have the best Stone Crab when in season. Once you make it to Duval St. it's pretty much a drunkin frenzy. Some of the fav spots are HogBreath Saloon... they have a raw bar & microbrew - and Fridays.JourneyDeep .into the sound -

Re: florida
Key largo is really nice and it's directly underneath Miami pretty much. Theres acouple of parks you can get out and walk around and enjoy the scenery. One's called pennekamp if I'm not mistaken. If you're there around dinner time theres a place called Snooks that is right on the water and the sunsets are insane. The food is pricey but it's fresh. If you have time/money rent some jet skis and rip it up out there, thats always fun.Last edited by hambino21; March 12, 2007, 06:15:24 AM." Focus on the subtleties and the world becomes grander"

Re: florida
Drive all the way to the end. Bunch of shops bars and restaraunts. There's a really cool 3 story bar with pool tables. the 3rd floor being the roof top garden features a big breasted bar tender. It's topless up there or maybe even nude, dont remember as we got there very early, around 9:30 ish.
This was around 2002, so you might get some flat chested babe now. But its a really nice drive.
We did it only because we flew in to Ft. Lauderdale arriving at 4:30am, check in at our South Beach hotel wasnt till 4pm!Comment

Re: florida
I am not a big fan of the keys. Duval street is cool but thats about it. Also its a pretty good drive. If I remember right its like 3 hours from the first key(Key Largo) to the last key(Key West). As mentioned above that Pennekamp State park is really cool.Comment

Re: florida
well we may just drive down to the state park near key largo and go snorkeling. that could be a nice relaxing way to end the other 6 days of debaucheryComment
