How Dirty Is Your House presents.... Coordinated
COORDINATED, CHARTERHOUSE BAR, LONDON
SAT 17TH MARCH 2007 - 19:00HRS TO 03:00HRS
Coordinated return to Charterhouse Bar yet again for "How Dirty Is Your House" on Sat, 17th March. This is a more relaxed affair than our usual events, were you can bask in luxurious surroundings, play some cards, chat to friends or simply celebrate St. Patrick's day with us, while we spin our usual blend of funky, progressive and tech house. If nothing else, this is a great place to start your night, especially with its cheap drink prmotions.
As a special treat this month, Coordinated are proud to be headlining Mork ? one of London?s leading progressive house DJs.
For the past year Mork?s been busy playing all over the capital for events such as Heat at Turnmills or Push at the White House, as well as smaller, intimate affairs in venues such as the Living bar or Leopard Lounge. No stranger to the dance scene, he pinpoints 1996, and listening to Oakenfold?s ?Perfecto Fluoro? as the defining moment that laid the foundations of his DJ career. However, it wasn?t until 2002 that he first turned his hand to mixing and quickly formed and promoted the ?Six Degrees? (www.six-degrees.co.uk) as a way of bringing his unique sound to the mainstream. The Six Degrees became popular for it?s fusion of different genres of house music, culminating in the infamous back-to-back, driving prog sets of Mork and Davey G. These days, Mork focuses more on DJ?ing than promoting and draws inspiration from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Satoshi Tomiie and Max Graham, creating a more varied sound incorporating electro, tech and even funky house, though never straying too far from his roots. Expect bold bass lines, rolling beats and strong melodies.
Line-up:
Mork
The Coordinators
Dominic Martin
Will Konitzer
Venue Information and Details:
Charterhouse, 38 Charterhouse St, London, EC1
Nearest Tube: Farringdon or Barbican
Price: Free entry before 10pm, ?5 after or ?3 with flyer/NUS
