    F1 2007

With the season just some 30 odd hours away I was wondering peoples thoughts on the upcoming season now that Schumacher is no longer around.

Was Buttons win in Hungary last year nothing more than a blip on the F1 radar as both he and Barrichello yet again struggle for pace as the season kicks off?

Will Alonso shine in his brand new McLaren or will this seasons hyped rookie Hamilton put the Spaniard in his place?

Can the Ice Man do for Ferrari what Schumacher did or is he destined to play second fiddle to a confident Massa?

Will the young Fin at Renault secure his future whilst seeing off Fisi as the team fail to make an impact in the post-Alonso era?

Will Newey's newly designed Red Bull be able to give DC a decent send off and resurrect the ailing career of Webber?

Will the inept boys at Toro Rosso be out shined by the brilliant Davidson (and less brilliant Sato) from Super Aguri?

Can Williams, Spyker and Toyota pull something off which might actually put them in contention for some points this year?

And will Heidfield and Kubica continue to stick two fingers up at, previous BMW and former World Champion, Villeneuve as they take on the big boys this year and fight for those podium places?

So much to look forward too.

But the most important thing - Who the fuck does Ralf Schumacher think he his by claiming to be the third best driver on the grid after Alonso and Kimi? At least with the other Schumacher we had some humility - Ralf could learn a thing or two.

    Your thoughts guys and gals?

    Re: F1 2007

i am really pulling for Ruebino. he was forced under team orders to play second fiddle all those years at Ferrari, when it was clear he was a winning driver, not schumi, but he easily could have taken a dozen races i watched during his tenure. such a talented driver, moreso than his south american counterpart(JPM) who had to leave F1 because he couldnt race a road course in traffic. JPM was always the guy for south america, when frankly, RB was a whole level higher than montoya ever was. he was consistenly great when it was clear that the team was solely focused on schumi.

Good race and a confident performance from Kimi Raikonnen, Alonso and Hamilton were also good....McLaren has a great car this season.I think Honda(Button especially)was largely disappointing.

^^he's in NASCAR now from what I believe.

I really wasn't into the remarks about Hamilton being f1's answer to Tiger Woods. I was quite impressed by his driving. Able to stay in the top 3 the entire race...even though the speed limit in the pits is now 50MPH as opposed to 70 last year.

I still hope Alonso wins the championship this year too.

I think that it's gona be a battle between Kimi and the two McLarens this year.

Just like Schumacher, Hakkinen and Coulthard a few years back...

DC hasn't been shit since the last year that Hakkinen was in F1. The guy just stays around...trailing along in the back of the pack.

What the fucks happened to Button and Honda ? ... that is the ugliest F1 car I've ever seen - Jenson must be embarrassed having to drive that thing: no wonder he's hiding at the back of the grid !
