Very neat stuff...and at face value, true as well (at least as far as my educational level allows me to see into this stuff). Most college students who took some sort of a Financial Institutions course will have learned the core building blocks of how banks create money...what they typically don't get is a deeper discussion of the overarching implications, costs, and benefits of the system.

What I'm not sold on, though, is how easily this system could be replaced, and how much better the new government based system would really be in the long run.

I do highly recommend this video to everyone, though. It is very thought provoking.

I'm quite disapointed with the ammount of feed back on this...expected a some discussion. I think you should really watch this if you have any interest for the world your livin in. Only Miroslav seems to care but hey I'm not gonna force anyone to get educated.

didn't make it to the proposed solutions, but i'll try to watch that part later on. it's revealing to me so far, since I have no clue about how the financial world works in creating credit and/or money like that...and it's a bit scary too. Everything is built on trust, but when people lose their trust in banks any economy could collapse. Actually that happened in Argentina while ago with people going to the banks and finding out their money was worth jack shit.

No in actual fact its much worse than that...the system is bound to colapse even with trust...the run on the bank is the most basic of the problems presented ti the video. I assumed you were busy...i have quite a lot of work to do myself...having trouble to find time to upload my set! But from friday its smooth sailing!
