their new album was just released last week. it's called "we were dead before the ship even sank." i think it's a really good album and they've been one of my favorite bands since about 2000. isaac brock's lyrics are great on this new one.

modest mouse are a phenominal band. i've loved their stuff since moon and antarctica.. the delivery and depth on this album is very good. every time i listen to it i pickup something new, especially on vocal delivery... so diverse.

^^^i completely agree...you should check out "the lonesome crowded west" they put it out a few years before "the moon and antartica." really good albums.

looks like i'm flying to dallas to see them on the 9th
