          i actually love the remote, esp. since it works with my xbox360 (which is how i watch tv w/ the card)

              The grey remote works with XBox ? Thought it was only for MCE and the IR base plugs in via USB.

              Minus the remote, that is actually how I have things setup right now

                      ditto, I've dabbled with which one to get for nearly 3 months now and finally took the plunge last week. Read countless mixed reviews about every other one I wanted to get and finally decided to get the Hauppage

                          yeah if you have the 360 networked into your pc for tv viewing/media streaming etc. then pressing power should turn on the xbox, and will actually navigate the dashboard. if you press the green media center button when your 360 is off it will turn on and go directly to media center (if the 360 is already on it will prompt you to click ok first before starting media center)

                          the other thing i like about it is the 30 second skip forward buttton...works like a charm for most commercials.
