Eccentric Beats 4 Year Anniversary Party:
Bill Patrick, Son Of The Electric Ghost, Carbon Community
MAIN ROOM
Bill Patrick – 112 Crew, Robots, Made, New York City
New York has seen many DJ's come and go in it's time. The city that never sleeps has seen many clubs come and go as well. In a town where certainty is never guaranteed and change is around every corner, Bill Patrick has managed to maintain a successful career as one of New York's most exciting and respected DJ's.
Coming from a diverse musical background that included punk, hip hop, new wave, and reggae, Bill's love for dance music began in 1998. He frequented the legendary club Twilo almost every Friday until its closing in 2001. In a short time as a DJ, he has piled up an impressive resume with a residency at New York's famed club Arc (formerly Vinyl), played some of the best clubs throughout the world and has worked alongside many of the scene's most revered DJ's.
Four years ago, he formed the 112 Crew alongside three of his mates, Tom Amoroso, Dennis Rodgers, and Matt Licata. It all began while spinning at after-hour parties from Twilo. Since then, the Crew's own brand of techno/house has caught on like wildfire, affording Bill the opportunity to turn out an amazing landscape of different sounds and moods ranging from the most minimal of house and techno, dub, electro, breaks and always a few other surprises. The 112 Crew held a successful monthly residency at Arc and have turned out many stellar performances at B.E.D. in Miami as well as a much talked about set at Pawnshop at the 2005 Winter Music Conference.
On his own, Bill's passport has filled up quickly with international gigs in Mexico City, Costa Rica, Chile, Buenos Aires, and on to Spain, Italy, England, Finland, Norway, Romania and Germany. A proud moment came in January 2003 in Argentina where Bill played once again for Camel Genuine Sounds under a massive tent in Mar Del Plata. He headlined this 3000 person event playing alongside living legend Ricardo Villalobos and Tobi Neumann. His self confessed home away from home, Argentina has undoubtedly caught on to Bill's talent with numerous tours throughout the years including a 2005 New Years Eve date in Rosario that saw him play for 6 hours in front of 4000 people.
Over the past couple of years, Bill has made quite a mark in Europe as well. Some crowning moments to date have been his mainfloor set at Fabric, a headlining slot at Cocoon club in Frankfurt, as well as three dream gigs in Ibiza, including a mainfloor slot at the legendary "We Love..." party at Space, and a fist pumping performance for Circo Loco at DC-10. That set grabbed a bunch of attention and afforded him a chance to play for Circo Loco in Rome and Rimini. Topping off 2003 and kick starting 2004 was a New Years Eve set at the world renowned techno club Tresor in Berlin. A dream come true and a huge achievement for someone with only 5 years behind the decks. Now a resident at one of the most respected techno nights in the country, ROBOTS (www.wearerobots.net).
Bill continues to impress and broaden his musically boundaries. His love and dedication for dance music along with his ability to push the envelope has been the driving forces behind his rapid success. It's no wonder he has caught the eye of many world class DJ's such as Lee Burridge and Danny Howells who mentioned him as “The Best Undiscovered DJ” in DJ Mag's 2003 Top 100 issue. In a very short time, he has managed to create quite a buzz for himself as one of the most exciting new DJ's to arrive on the international dance circuit.

Son Of The Electric Ghost
Son Of The Electric Ghost makes his much anticipated return to Minneapolis on May 4th. His debut performance at Mell's Beauty Bar in front of a capacity crowd was one of the best shows Eccentric Beats has thrown since its inception in 2003.
Reactions from his debut show:
"That was an absolutely INSANE night of music!" - Jack Trash
"Dance music doesn't get a whole lot better than what we heard Saturday night. He delivered pure cutting-edge Breaks with attitude..." - Moksha
"F*ck yeah, last night was a good time!!! SOTEG rocked!!" - Anna1814
Considered by Breakspoll to be "America's hottest up-and-coming talent", his legendary LIVE PA's have destroyed dancefloors throughout North America and Europe, including the superclub Fabric in London. With his label, Bless, receiving support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, James Zabiela, Freddie Fresh and Phil K, there is little reason to miss this!

Carbon Community
Since launching onto the scene in 2003 with a release on the U.S. label Moonshine Music, the Carbon Community, aka Dave Cannon, hasn't sat still. Over the last three years, Dave has found himself working with labels Bless Records, Dorigen Music, Blue Plasma, Renaissance, and in 2004 launched his own label Sober Music.
Along with writing under the Carbon Community alias, Dave has also found himself collaborating with fellow Texan, Son of the Electric Ghost under the surname loBudg. Combining both melodic passages with glitched out edits and heavy bass, the Carbon Community has found his niche, and continues to deliver his unique sound to crowds around the globe.
Coming from a live music background, the Carbon Community adds an element of excitement to his performances that many artists lack. Merging live drums, live synthesizers, and on occasion live vocals, the Carbon Community has mesmerized audiences from his home town off Dallas, to the Love Parade in San Francisco, the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, and all the way to Britains infamous night of breaks, Trigger.
Bringing his own original music that is as equally stimulating to the mind as it is the body, the Carbon Community has become one of Americas top live acts, and continues to push the envelope for live electronic music. Over the last few years, Dave has found himself sharing the stage with some of electronic music’s best, such as, Prodigy, Hybrid, Uberzone, Future Funk Squad, and Public Enemy, and shows no signs of slowing down.
