Do you mean filthy like sleazy, or filthy like really twisted, filtered, mindfucking sounds? A lot of tracks from the earlier part of last year had these glitch elements in them that could be classified as filthy too?

i call the subtle shit that makes you eyes open dirty. the slow developing, type of tunage that gets deeper without blowing up stuff. diggers late night, hector romero, etc. its that feeling when something little changes, but changes the whole scope of whats going on. or when you have a nasty bassline drop in over some minimal drum patterns.

but "lights out 2 & 3" were weak.

I would not have thought that about any of those, but his VIVA definitely is, and it's why it's my favorite Lawler Mix.

in some of their tracks they are dirrty filthy, but not in all their stuff.

JUSTICE is filthy. AS is their production friends. all crazy distortion freaks.
