part 2 & final report for wmc

* Saturday- after 3 days of mayhem.. i had to take the day and nite off.. i felt like i was coming with something.. my throat and ear started hurting me.. so i stay in.. cause i knew sunday was going to be a long day & nite..

*Sunday day -RemixHotel@National-Radioslave,Zabiela,TommieSunshine,Spooky,Gabriel&D resden,Milk&Sgr

I have to say me and my friends got there just in time.. the fuckin line grew fast.. just ask ken.

finaly got in and was able to catch the tail end of Spookys set.. 20 mins i heard was off the hook.. BASSLINES

next up was the man himself MR. James Zabiela.. i dont even need to same anymore.. i knew this amazing dj was bad ass. but see him for my first time.. FUCKIN SPEECHLESS

After JZ. up next was Milk & Sugar. It was one of the guys from the group.. i tell you if you like good house.. this guy was the perfecrt dj for the poolside party.. great vocal house with some dirty funk.. the man had the crowd hopping..

Gabriel & Dresden came on next.. i have to say i was a bit dissapointed.. i like some there productions... but was not feeling there set at all..

by this time the energy was down.. i stayed to listen to Radioslave first 2 tracks and left.

*Clinton Hotel

friend of mine at the Remix party told me that Thomas Penton was playing there..
Got there for the last 30 mins of his set.. it was really good.. it gave me and my friend the energy that we all needed to boost our spirits again.. thank you Mr. Penton

*SUNDAY NITE- Little Mountain Records@Shelborne-Sander Kleinenberg,Trent Cantrelle,Rene Amez,Lepley

Got there before 11pm.. first up was Chuck Lepley with a nice warm up set.. had the crowd going up and down.

Next was the man who fuckin brought it IMO.. TRENT CANTRELLE
This guy got up and fuckin rocked it for the next 2 hrs.. job well done..

After the last 2 hrs of getting our ass kicked by TC.. next was Rene Amez.
if you like acid house then you will the this dj.. Imo i was not feeling his music.. to noisy and to hard for my liking..

final was MR. Sander Kleinenberg. first 45 mins i felt like he was trying to get it going.. all in all.. it was a big let down for me.. I know this guy is amazing.. maybe he was having a bad nite.. but the track selection he had was going know where.. sux cause i'm a sander fan too..

i'll give him another chance.. one cool thing towards the end of the nite.. this guy behind us started beating the drums he had with him.. which was cool cause he was going with the music.. as soon as sander heard and saw him.. Sander stopped the music and the guy keep beating the drums for like another 1 to 2 mins.

after that me and my friends went back to finlay get soem needed rest..lol


I'll leave it on this note: Being this was my first time, i had such an amazing week down there.. to be honest i cant think of one bad thing going wrong..

its an amazing time when everything and everybody around is having the time of there life and is on the same level.

to be around music and some of the most amazing peeps to meet and talk too.. doesnt get any better that ..

Also i want to thank god and my best frineds for making this trip happen .. its been along time coming for me..

I know onething.. i will never forget my first WMC.


*Next is STEVE JAMES & HUNTER back in pensacola april friday 13th weekend. woot woot

Chris, Adam, his friend, and I tried to get in for Zabiela and G&D but the line was ridiculous! Really bummed I missed them, but oh well, there will be other times I'm sure
