    Satoshi Tomiie

What the hell happened to him? You don't see any of his mix sets floating around anymore?

I was just thinking of this the other day. What happened to the man? The last time I heard a set from him was from WMC '04 I think. I didn't think the set was all that great. Maybe he is taking a break.

i know that Satoshi just played in Chicago on friday (sound bar or vision maybe??)

a friend of mine said he played a phenomenal set. I was actually interested in trying to get him out to Detroit while he was state side but his booking agent never even returned my call. (Maria Hutt @ international talent booking) Guess im out of the loop.

From his web site: September 2004

            From Satoshi

Wow, it was so long, but so good. The summer tour of 2004 is almost over. The traveling part was hard but it definitely was worthy. Had a great time at every single places I have visited and played! Just finished playing with Hernan @ Pacha, SAW party was amazing in Ibiza again. We have one more to go for this season with Hector Romero and Sander Kleinenberg.
Remember Fishead (Chris Scott, Scott Bradford and me)? We had a opportunity to get together once again in North England at Chris's studio. We only had 2 and half days and are not able to complete a tune but had a great start.
Played demo version of it at Pacha already, receiving a great reaction from the dancefloor! It's time to go back to studio for real.

Satoshi rocks the driving house music. he's never been to LA (correct me if i'm wrong) but his GDJB sets are insane! haven't seen of heard anything fresh since the spring.

hes fallen off a bit imo. he came here last year and i was ALL about him, but his cds (or the ones i have) arent like his live set at all. they have to much happy vocal songs. although i just got a set of him and hector romero(undulation) and its sweet. hopefully more like that are on the way.
