Yep, and not so good for the Cards. I was at the game last night -- Carpenter looked very mortal and our bigger hitters really looked flat. At the end of the game, the role players had actually hit the ball pretty well, but the stars didn't do it when they needed to. Credit to the Mets, they've still got a great line-up, and Glavine really pitched well. It was only after he left that we really started getting anything going at the plate at all...
Was still great to be back at the ballpark, though, and they gave us a World Series, so I'll let this loss slide.
