    My first Ableton Live mix...

This is my first so please be gentle. It's so different mixing in midi and only headphones, but it was so neat! I'll get a tl up soon, enjoy MS!

i thought it was a pretty good mix.
couple of things i noticed - there are a few songs that are warped up or down too far from the original bpm so it does that weird stretchy tremolo sound on some parts, it's most noticable on the vocal from moan and the song before cafe del mariachi. on one of the early mixes it sounds like theres a bass or volume difference between the song going out and the one coming in.

which remix of moan is that?

as a tip for those warping... change the warp mode to complex instead of beats. You will be able to lose the "tremolo" sound, and overall, the sound will be better when you do that for warping.

          It's the Trentmoller rmx.

As far as the warping goes, you must have really good ears because I can't hear anything. LOL. So in my preferences I should look for complex instead of...? Also in that mix some of the mixes were off due to not being used to how to properly trigger the new track. I warped everything at 125bpm. Thank you guys for the input, it'll help me get better at it for sure. Keep the input coming!

Also, I'm mixing in headphones only so my eqing and fader control needs some work as well. In this forum I have a Minimal set I also did in live. Could you give it a listen as well and give me some feedback please?

Been studying up on this topic. I think I'll remix this first one 'complex' and see what happens. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
