Re: What if Iran invaded Mexico?
I think he meant Chomsky's point of view
Noam Chomsky from MIT, do a google search.
Camel pinatas sound cool thoughOriginally posted by ShpiraSo came back last night...
Sven Vath was amazing...he played a god damn killer set...ended up going to that and came to at like 10 am in some whore house in south Amsterdam...no idea how I ended up there...friday was a bit of a blur got really drunk and visited several parties can't remember a whole lot to be honest hehe...saturday was probably the best day that I recall...started up in the nearest coffee shop and going from party to party...beautiful woman, beer and weed...finished the night by taking some shrooms and listening to an amazing elke kleijn set...sunday...i met a nice girl who worked at one of the coffee shops and ended up talking to her for like 6 hours...was supposed to meet her at some DnB party...but instead went for a steak and walked around red light district bars drinking and smoking...monday took it easy went to a coffee shop and took a taxi to airport....
All in all...I think I will be going back there some time soonOriginally posted by IlluminateLet me get this straight.
So white-middle class Americans have been told by their Television sets to be fearful of:
1. Mexicans/Latinos from the South bringing drugs and killings n' shit.
2. African Americans cause mos def they are raging a race war and want to occupy America like how the plebs occupied Wall St.
3. Iranians/Afghans/Any one of middle eastern origin to be quite frank, cause you know Islam...
4. North Koreans/Chinese cause you know everything...
Am I close here?Comment

Snippet from Wikipedia:
"He is generally considered to be a key intellectual figure within the left wing of United States politics. Chomsky is widely known for his political activism, and for his criticism of the foreign policy of the United States and other governments."Comment

I read it and i understood it!
Like communisism it looks good on paper. It will never happen though, far too sensible.
To be honest if you really knew what Bush knew then you;d be the first to wipe Iran off map."Pain is only weakness leaving the body."Comment

Re: What if Iran invaded Mexico?
i want to see noam get kidnapped by a group of gay republicans and get skull fucked to death while watching his useless speeches on TV. like i said about noam, for an engineer, he thinks he knows an aweful lot about economics, taxation, military strategy, race relations... etc etc etc. whatever the topic of the month seems to be, noam will always tell us he is the penultimate authourity in it. when is comes to civil engineering, i might begin to listen to him.your life is an occasion, rise to it.

When Hugo Chavez holds up your book and says you are the foremost authority on foreign policy..... You will have to forgive my predisposition to skepticism.Comment

Re: What if Iran invaded Mexico?
Good article. While I don't necessarily agree with all of it, it does hit on some points I have believed for some time now, that we (the USA) are gradually becoming the enemy and that our foreign policy is a massive double standard.Beats are my crack.Comment

Re: What if Iran invaded Mexico?
Our citizenry has been brought up to see our nation as different from others, an exception in the world, uniquely moral, expanding into other lands in order to bring civilization, liberty, democracy.
I don't agree with everything Zinn or Chomsky says either, but like you, I've been noticing the double standard for quite some time now.Comment
