I beg to differ.

Although kevin upholds his image as a "techno" pioneer with most of his mix cds he rarely plays techno when he spins a gig. (at least in Detroit)
Most times I have heard him spin it is more upbeat funky housey sound.

The only time I have heard him play techno was when he and Acquaviva tagged at a monday night event in a tiny bar on michigan ave. they started out with some deep house and by 3am they were blastin some really heavy techno beats. really fun night, needless to say.

i have some video of him playing at some festival from a couple months ago.
i forget the date and venue though.
