He used to be a great techno DJ. and not the kind of techno that Hawtin spins nowadays, the kind he used to spin when he did decks efx and 909. Banging techno.
Now he's mostly into the noisy electro stuff...which I can dig. I'd like to see him too. He's always been a big favorite of one of my friends here.
a powerful and insane mothership that occasionally comes commanded by the real ones .. then suck us and makes us appear in the most magical of all lands

Oh. My. God. James absolutely obliterated the island tonight. The last time there was so much destruction, Obi Wan Kenobi had to take a seat on the Falcon after the Death Star said "hi and bye" to Leia's homeworld.
I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.

He's mostly into spinning a massive variety just like he's been doing for years. He's spun all kinds of different genres and his song selections are great. He just happens to know the good beats. Some of his breaks sets are amazing. He's got some killer deep house sets too.

beanz you may say a lot of crazy shit but you really know your music
I had the opportunity to catch him and Ricardo Villalobos play back to back at Fabric in '05 when I was visiting and it's one of the better sets I've seen from a DJ regardless of genre. I still love his Essential Mix from June 20 of '04 (or perhaps it was '05). Hope to see him play here in the States sometime soon. Nice to see he's with TCA, maybe now he'll be coming over more often.

that 2004 EM really kicked ass There was a thread on the board at that time talking about it. thanks to it i've discovered craig richards
great dj. Consistently brilliant regardless of what he's mixing. He is resident and musical director of fabric - he plays in each of the 3 rooms, different sounds, warm up, peak time and last slots... such a great variety of music and clued up dj. One of my faves!
