I was stunned at how many schools similarly-themed things have happened in the wake of the VA Tech tragedy. Threats, plots, suicides -- the whole nine. Who watches what happened on Monday and thinks, "Gee, how can I get in on this?," or "What a great opportunity to pull a prank?"

Man, there are some sick folks out there -- one of those things that knocks down your faith in the human race a few notches. Really leaves a bad taste in my mouth...

I'd get a kick out of beating the shit out of them. What really should happen, though, is that our judicial system gets a kick out of landing these people a non-trivial amount of jail time. People who are caught doing this should be harshly punished as an example to others, imo.

No doubt, but then again, we're all conditioned to live in a state of fear. It's really quite sad that we're afraid of everything.


As for the last posters reply on videogames. I wouldn't say that people kill people because of videogames, however, they do mimic a lot of what is seen in videogames. I mean seriously, let's be realistic here, if media didn't affect people, we wouldn't have people trying to be bling bling and get phat booty hoes.
