    Awarded to Ren?e C. Byer of The Sacramento Bee for her intimate portrayal of a single mother and her young son as he loses his battle with cancer.

        this sort of stuff puts life into perspective, but still does stop the human condition of realising how lucky we are. until u have lived it, i believe you can never truely understand it and hence the little things dont matter.

              I thought the mom had a REALLY good point about some of the money for cancer reasearch being ear marked to help families.
              It's never too late to become the person you always thought you would be.
