So... my fellow music lovers, I think it's safe to say that most of us just " get" electronic music, right? I mean, ask any decent house DJ to spin at a party and he'll do it with (hopefully) finesse and ease... BUT ask a DJ to tell you a story, and if he's GREAT, he'll take you on a JOURNEY through your own mind, bridging neurons in your head that were never before connected... now charged, they're firing in congruence to 125 bpms or higher... the bass reverberating through your body like a defibrillator lifting you from cardiac arrest, over and over again... then you find yourself just standing there in the middle of the dance floor, so awed, so amazed, realizing all of a sudden how ALIVE you feel... you look to your buddies around you and everyone has a look on their face that says, "OH MY GOD!!". Then the subsequent exchange of smiles because all of you just realized that what just transpired was something historic, right then and there... and best of all, you were able to SHARE that experience with some really, really awesome people (again, hopefully). And even strangers become your friends after one killer set because... because you two now share one of the rarest commonalities... you share a GREAT DJ's history on that very same dance floor. SEE?? It's true!! DJ's really do save lives!! I already have been saved, multiple times!! Have you?!?!?
