Your favourite record shop?

I'm always interested in what are people's favourite record shops, and why.
In terms of prog stuff in London, it will have to be Plastic Fantastic, followed by Tag.
I'm going to NYC at Xmas, so am looking out for good recommendations in terms of stock and how helpful staff are. Answers on a postcard...

Virgin Records. I always end up buying more than what i actually went to get.
