i cant remember but there is a package out there that has a bunch of windows32 drivers in a package that will let mplayer/vlc play about any format, search for that...
also try mplayer, it seems to play EVERYTHING by default. the only reason i have vlc is because mplayer doesnt have dvd menu support, and vlc does.
BTW, those of you checking out ubuntu and are into sound production, multimedia stuff, check out ubuntu studio. Unfortunately their homepage seems to be down But the address is www.ubuntustudio.com .

Oh. My. God. James absolutely obliterated the island tonight. The last time there was so much destruction, Obi Wan Kenobi had to take a seat on the Falcon after the Death Star said "hi and bye" to Leia's homeworld.
I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.
