ok I got to the bottom of it, the file depends on certain partitions of the server for space - one of those ran out. I cleared it out and it started working

Now if the uploads fail, let me know and I know what to do

I am having problems uploading. I have tried three times on two separate days, it starts uploading then it stops and says "you didn't pick a file to upload". Please fix...

its a recurring problem with the script, its not cleaning out the temp folder after the upload is done and that is stalling the script. so if anyone sees an issue with uploading files, pls let me know and I will clear out the temp folder asap.

no it doesnt happen after every single upload. It happens almost every 7 - 10 days, hope the mod author releases an update / fix soon

Can you create a batch file that will delete the contents of the temp folder and run it nightly? I'm not sure which platform the server is running on (Unix, Windows etc), but creating the batch might be something to look at.

its running on linux but the problem is even the mysql.sock connect is sitting in the same folder, which I cant delete or MySQL will crash.

Moreover, the other temp files that fill up this folder have been diff the last 2 times I emptied it out. As a result, I cant run a cron to empty the folder and with the file names being diff, I cant even use a prefix to pick in order to delete the crap
