    seems to be hex .. but not sure why some of the letters are lowercase and other aren't...

    also, grouping two hex digits together is common so each of the two characters represent a byte. Maybe an ascii or utf-8 encoded text? Or maybe colors of something..

      ^^^ It's numerical mate not ASCII or anything else.

      These cracks are a godsend for people like me who want to legitimately watch these movies (that we own) under linux. The faster the format is cracked the better it is for the format in the format wars anyway. Means more of us will adopt it
