i like having a 3rd cdj when possible. it allows you to be ahead of the game when cueing tracks, mixing more tracks, or just mixing a lot of tracks over each other. i've never been much of a sample user though.

      exactamundo richie.

i like it cuz when you get that third CDj you can utilize some amazing drum loops to brach two tunes with a simply drum pattern over the top to hold some consistency in the mix, effect samples, and with the 800+1000's you can create some wicked studder effects with the smaller loop times.

it also helps with throwing in a sweet acapella with the set and not having to worry about taking the cd back out in a minute to cue up the next track.

I have never gotten the opportunity to spin with three cd players....but i would love it.

jeffrey, when playing those unlimited time frame parties you absolutely need three dex.
a few weeks ago in pensacola we had four set up and believe it or not i utilized all of them all night.
it opens up creative doors when you have those extra options.

here's a pic of it all.

          two cdj 200s
          two cdj 800s
          1 pioneer djm mixer
          serato

NICE. Unfortunately around here we don't have unlimited parties that just keep going with only one or two dj's. The closest thing we used to have was residencies here, but they are all gone, and you only got to play for 4 hours...which was nice, but by the end of the night 2AM...you were pretty much just warmed up and ready to spin another 3-4.

            Nice pic bro.
