Nothing is a bargain on ebay.

thats why you always specify to the seller in a seperate email that you want the package labled as a GIFT, before purchasing. if they're not willing to do it, then you don't buy from 'em.

and there are definitely bargains to be had on ebay. friend just picked up two cdj 1000 mk3s + a djm 600 for about 3k canadian (all new). saved himself nearly $1000...

if its marked as a gift then it can pass costoms without being taxed

correct, due to this idiot not marking it as a gift i had to pay around $50 US ( ?24 UK ) to get the parcel out of the mail warehouse, gutted, i should of emailed the buyer b4 hand to make sure he was going to mark it as a gift and if he wasnt then it would of been just and cheap to buy it directly from the UK

Why is it the sellers fault? Why should he have to know the import regulations for every country? These are amatuer folks selling stuff on ebay, not profession merchants. IMO, It's Red's fualt for not asking him to label it as a gift.
