The usb cable that runs from the Serato hard disk thing to your computer is not that long. Like 3 1/2 feet max..if that helps.

that would be quite a juggling act, spinning the one record and having to walk across your bedroom to get to the computer to cue up another track. You should thing about re-arranging your bedroom bro. You should be able to fit your computer and screen and everything else right into that corner where your decks are now. Stop using the stereo and use the monitors for all your sound. It would be a bit cramped, but it would make you that much more productive.

well hell yeah it'll work bro. Just when you use a long cable for music, you get loss of signal and you get loss of quality of signal for using cables that long. And if you do use a fairly long cable, make sure it is well shielded and has a lot of rubber around the copper wire. It will help against interference.

no audio loss under 10 meters, don't worry, just use balanced lines if possible and that's it!
also serato is very nice production tool, you might wanna use it in production as well.
and the TC record is only around 10$, so definetlly cheaper than buying CDplayers.
