Blogs are the new wave of news information in the world and it's not filtered by some censor at the news studio. Plus it's a great way for people to get to know more about everything. I know of a couple companies blogs that I check out almost everyday to learn more about anything and everything.

some blogs are good. but the vast majority have no clue about ethics or accuracy. they don't do fact checks and just put their opinion on a story.

there's a blogger group that was trying to put together a code of ethics last year. in their code, they said something about not plagiarizing, but several of the ethics points were taken word for word from my journalism ethics textbook.
