I hate the NBA

I don't have 1 team in particular that I love, but the Lakers of the 80's and the Lakers/Kings rivalry from a few years back are among my favs.

That being said, I am rooting for the Suns in the Phx/SA series. Mainly because I like how Nash plays with so much energy all the time. I everyone played like Nash, the NBA would be truly exciting.

Anyone have any thoughts on the 2 game suspension of Horry and the 1 game for Amare and Diaw?

If you ask me (whic no one did...but I digress) it was a wholly lopsided decision to toss the Suns players'.

Anyhow, I'd love to hear thoughts on this one.

i am not a big basketball fan, but follow the results and occasionally watch games (moreso toward playoff time)

im a blazers fan so in recent years i havent had much reason to watch

that rule is completely STUPID.
have you ever seen a basket player stay on the bench when someone is beating his teammates?
there's no possible way to keep them calmed in the bench and "hot" on the court.

i guess the only reason they did that is to cover their asses from law suits if anys player hits a guy on the public again.

a rule is a rule. obviously, they need to change it because it is a stupid rule.... but it was a rule that should have been enforced because again, a rule is a rule. yes, duncan got very lucky that he didn't get suspended. having said that, it's not like horry predicted the future and expected diaw and amare to get suspended. he just decided to foul nash hard. smart decision, imo, but i'm sure horry didnt' expect it to cause such commotion.

you do a lottery, you might get screwed. you don't do a lottery and teams will purposely tank to get a good draft pick... pros and cons, either way.

The sad thing is, you know those top picks really don't want to go to some shit squad and have to work their way up to a chance to get to the playoffs. I know they love the money and the glory but no man, absolutely no man wants to be on a losing team. It would suck.
