You don't buy a 3K watch to tell time, you buy it because of EGO and because you want people to look up to you because of your watch...it's all a power play.

Bureone, he simply stated that he liked fashion, not that he was looking for attention, that's two totally different things here. If someone likes buying expensive clothes, it does not mean that he/she is necessarily looking to impress you or someone else. I for one will spend way over my limit on clothes (3g's in denim alone, with 7 pair) but it's something i tend to like for MYSELF. I could care less if someone notices or comments. Just be lucky your not "one of them" for the fact of the money spent.

Some people like the expensive stuff just because they like the higher end "quality". And some people like the expensive stuff because they like to show off and feel good about themselves.

I mean if your buying high end ridiculous expensive stuff you dont really need just to impress people, you've got a problem imo.

I've been meaning to get myself another watch. maybe something a little over $1k. And that's a lot for me. Not that I cant afford a $5k watch.

I can get a pair or 45-50$ jeans that will last me as long as any of your 2-300$ Jeans over at Express.

And most people say they like the higher quality, but inside they really are looking for someone to come up to them and say, NICE WATCH.

We;; a couple years ago when there were all these "Painters" jeans, they had some expensive, But no they don't have "expensive" jeans, but they are quality and they do last. And that's what I care about.

I get the cheapest jeans. 50 bucks tops. Levis boot cut loose fit style. Arizona are good too. As long as they cover some of my shoe and arent' tapered Im good. I fucking hate tapered jeans!
