Agreed. This isn't what I expected at all. I think track 8-9 (I'm only up to track 9 at the moment) has that vibe.

Not knowing what to expect, tracks 1-3 were a "long" intro into the album, but track 6 is absolutely filthy--that's what I've been waiting for!

Pity, this should've been a sequenced or mixed album. An average of 5 mins per track is just too short.

I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.

Nice. Artist albums from solid producers always hit the spot.

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

2 of his album tracks (11. Deviated Septum & 13. B Dub) were on his Transitions podcast last year. Only 30 mins long, but one blinder of a set.

                    1. Tonepushers - Daydreamer (Chris Fortier Remix)
                    2. Royal Sapien - Oh No (Dub)
                    3. 40oz - B Dub
                    4. 40oz - Downlow'd
                    5. 40oz - Deviated Septum

this is a great album by chris. i feel he often gets overlooked but he definitely brings it and is a super nice guy too.

Re: Chris Fortier - As Long As The Moment Exists (2007)

My copy arrived today from play4me.com.au.
As a huge Fortier-fan, I needed to have it as soon as possible.
Tracks 9, 12 and 13 cought my attention, the rest sounded rather oldish to me.

My girlfriend, who spins some records from time to time asked me if the cd is really
                        new or older...

Just my 2 cents, if Chris would have mixed the tracks together, it would be more
enjoyable. But this way it sounds like some older Pascal Feos-artist-album to me.

Anyway, his recent kiss100-guest-mix is awesome so I?ll enjoy this one instead

                        Cheers,
                        G.
