Re: A Lost Sheep Has Found his Way Back

Haha. Well I'm going on a major self-improvement program (working out hardcore, finding my funny personality again, getting contact lenses, etc.) over the next few months to start college. I'm pretty sure that she will see what a big mistake she made breaking up with me.

What really pisses me off though is that some guy that's going to her college started talking to her about an hour after our breakup was public on Facebook. Mind you, this guy is from Georgia (we're in Texas) and they MAY have met once in person when she went to visit the campus, but after only 2 weeks she's already "In a relationship" and saying "I love you" and shit like that over the phone to this guy. Even worse, I got a friend request from this tool on Facebook, which I did not accept of course. I'm pretty sure that this is all some kind of ploy to make me jealous and that the relationship is pretty insincere (has to be), and that this guy is probably only going after her to get in her pants (which pisses me off even more), so hopefully before she does something that she regrets she'll see exactly what she got rid of (pure awesomeness). For comparison, that's a picture of me in my avatar, and this other guy is a baseball player who looks like Gary Bertier from Remember the Titans. Obviously I'm the better looking guy, and not as cheesy as this guy either.

She's said that she wants me to not turn all anti-social and wants me to date other people, but I'm pretty sure that if she sees me with another girl so soon just like her with me, she'll get a little jealous.

Until then, the only thing to do of course is to give her her space and let her make her own mistakes. All I hope for is that she doesn't turn into a whore or get assaulted because she won't put out or something like that. Oh, the game of love/relationships. College transistions, too.

Any feedback on this is welcome.

"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."

Dude, you're 18. Get over it, work out some more, party, get drunk, get high, get laid, whatever... Really, what the hell do you need a relationship for at that age? There's too much to see, feel & experience out there to get serious already. Really, you have an entire life ahead of you.

So I say good riddance. Forget about the tart, move on and improve yourself!

And stop worrying about that douchebag for crying out loud. It's just so not worth it...

welcome back, sucks about your relationship.
facebook is a piece of shit.
if you don't get out of your funk soon, i think you'll find that your life changes for the better once you get to college, so i wouldn't worry about it too much.
poke around here and get some new sets, tons of good stuff on here and music always seems to help me when i'm upset about something

Well that's the idea right now so that she can see what she's missing out on with me. I mean dammit when you know you click with somebody, you click with them, so I want to see her in the future when we're both not all immature and retarded. I just don't want her to be all used and worn out and shit if/when that happens, either.

And it's not that easy to "forget about the tart" when you were together for 2 years and loved every minute of it. The story is more complicated even than what I wrote, but I don't have time to tell it right now.

I just want both of us to grow the fuck up and realize what we had was kickass. I plan on doing that by making her miss me by not talking to her at all unless she starts it. Other than that, I'm gonna try and leave her alone unless this guy turns out to be physically abusive or some shit. In that case, knives, dogs and castration will be involved.

hey mate dont worry bout the girl.. Like u said she wants to get u jealous and dont give in. i know it can be hard some break ups especially when one person loves the other more, but time will heal all wounds, and u keep doing the right thing cause karma will follow her dont worry bout that. Also when she does break up with this other guy and comes back to u DONT GIVE IN. Tell her she had her chance and she fucked it up. Anyway hope this helps. And like kinkyj said go out party , meet new girls build up friendships first before u committe to a relationship. Have fun mate

good stuff kinkz... and dubby, focus on more important things (like what kinky is talking about) in college, it really will be one of the best times of your life, don't go wasting it worrying about 1 fish in the sea, work on figuring out how to get 2-3 at once, thats what college is about

It was fun while it lasted...
