Go!Zilla are very pleased to announce a new residency at Cargo. Expanding on the live element of their previous successful ventures, they find a home at a purpose-built live music venue in the heart of the East End.

Previous events have brought together live and DJ showcases of previously conflicting scenes including acts such as A Mountain of One, Subway and Fuckpony. This move will pave the way for future events and open up further possibilities to broaden the spectre and unite musical styles from their best possible platforms. Go!Zilla?s events lead a musical path incorporating live, DJ and electronics for the dancefloor with each act building on the last and ebbing towards a climax of rave action.

The launch of this residency is a celebration of 2 years of Go!Zilla so brings together a culmination of the best guests from their past parties to share with their friends and family. Catch superb live performances from Spektrum, fresh back from a tour of Australia just in time for the re-release of their globally-renowned ?Kinda New? on Ministry and showing off the gems on their new ?Fun at the Gymkhana Club? album as well as George Demure, a musician who has the ability to make even the most traditional reveller appreciate the unpredictable. His production was laid to the final release on Output and sets at Koko London, Sonar and huge crowds at Glastonbury has ensured his admirers have multiplied rapidly, making his mix of guitars, tambourines and electronic music a truly magnificent spectacle.

Also performing are Dan Berkson and James What, a live act that understand the concept of live music across genres. Both studied music, Dan was originally a classical and jazz musician, founding various funk and soul band guises that sold out venues across America while James was a sound engineer and part of various musical projects. Their styles bring a meeting of funk and soul into futuristic electronica and will be performing from a string of successful releases between them on Mood Music, Crosstown Rebels and Poker Flat.

Riton is no stranger to Go!Zilla and one of our most popular guests. He has released on Souvenir and Get Physical, his productions and remixes have appeared on Evil 9 and Tiefschwarz?s Fabric compilations and this Summer will see him put his skills to mixing the first compilation release from ?We Love??. Playing an early slot between the bands he is the perfect excuse to get down early and sample some superior DJ talent.

James Priestley, founder and resident of Go!Zilla will also be performing to mark this special 2nd birthday celebration. Come down to join the festivities and marvel in the journey that has brought Go!Zilla to become one of the most talked about parties in London.
