I agree that Soulseek ain't what it was.

Whats the deal with Direct Connect?

I've used it a few times but can't find any sort of quantity of progressive and breaks.

Anyone know any good hubs please

It's really not about slsk or direct connect...it's the lack of P.L.U.R.

If you're behind a router, make sure you forward ports on your router to the machine where soulseek is on. Being behind a router can result in some information not getting through, which can affect downloading, searching and browsing people's files.

Also, the difference that donating makes is night and day in terms of how quickly you can download stuff from other users. Even if the queue is like 100 people wide you'll usually get put into the first slot to download.
