It was a pretty kickass show last night. I got there around 10pm and some guy was spinning; I didn't know who he was. He had some pretty good stuff to set up the atmosphere. At around midnight, Randall Jones came on and definitely put some more banging stuff on. I haven't heard much of his stuff, but now I'd like to.
At about 1am Randall handed it over to Mr. Howells. I didn't realize until then that the first 2 guys used cd's instead of vinyl, and Danny started right off with some great stuff. I haven't kept up with much music lately, so I couldn't identify any tracks, but at this point I didn't really care because I was grooving my ass off.
I only got to witness Howells for about an hour because my brother was getting absolutely tanked behind me. After his 7th Red Bull and vodka we had to go because he was losing his balance and shit. It was only 2am but I was satisfied with what I'd seen. I don't know if anybody else was there, but the venue was pretty cool and they can attest to that. Then again, I'd been shitfaced since 4pm that day after a six-pack of Shiner Bock and 4 shots of tequila, so maybe my judgement-making abilities were slightly impaired.
