yeah the yanks have become the cardinals. former glory that the fans hold onto, stil saying "we" are the best, while our teams do nothing in the long run. just give us ups and downs witht the occasional playoff run, only to be disappointed.

oh no, im still positive. its not a falling off of talent, but a lack of fire. when rocket comes in and only has to be the 4th starter, he will be up thier asses. jeter is too passive, leading by example, not mouth, but roger and jorge.... they get up in faces.

that and the thought that our second half staff could be wang, pettite, moose, clemens, and hughes... ill take it. add in the bullpen trades that will likely happen, and maybe even a trade for a big starter, combined with the fact that pavano's contract is voided off payroll once he decides surgury date, we gonna have some cash to spend, some promising rookie pitchers,, and as always, a fairly creative GM..

eh. we dont suck, but we arent great.
