Thought the Digweed Fabric mix was very poor, bar a few tracks. Wtf is he doing playing Martin Solvieg's 'Rockin Music' in the middle of a prog set?

Yeah, but that's no excuse for poor tune selection. There are a couple of tracks in the middle of the mix including that one that are completely out of synch with the rest of the CD. You still need to tracks to blend together and fit with one another well otherwise it just sounds gash.

Tyrant - No Shoes No Cake. Not sure where it fits. This one is excellent, and was one of the first discs to turn me on to techier, but funky sounds.

most of the fabric/fabriclive cds are good, but the following are great (imo) :

                            craig richards (both)
                            terry francis
                            radioactive man
                            plump djs
                            jacques lu cont
                            swayzak
                            michael mayer
baby mammoth, beige and solid doctor
                            adam beyer
                            death in vegas
                            diplo
                            carl craig
                            audion
                            tayo
                            ellen allien

no shoes no cake is great too (although i prefer the first tyrant comp that came out on distinctive breaks personally)

don't listen to many renaissance... i heard the first one james zabiela did... that was pretty good

                              easy:

                              Digweeds Fabric
                              and
Dave Seaman: Renaissance: America. I think it was limited release. Had a butterfly on the cover. just one disk, but it was a smokin' hot set!
you could put an Emfire release on for 2 minutes and you would be a sleep before it finishes - Chunky

it's RA. they'd blow their load all over some stupid 20 minute loop of a snare if it had a quirky flange setting. - Tiddles

Am I somewhere....in the corners of your mind....
