Re: 5/31 LUKE FAIR (Balance 11 Tour) @ INDEBLEU : DC
i wish luke started earlier. realize it's not up to him but <2 hour set is a joke. i recommend, if possible, starting at 10 or 11 at the latest. give these dj's a chance to get a bit more in their groove. inde bleu is beautiful lounge/rest but not a good place for these events, imo. too many suits who have no clue what's going on. however, many props for no cover charge. very impressive in today's nightlife scene and especially with the talent u guys are booking. miss the good ol' andalu days in the basement. keep up the good work and booking great talent, lush! can't wait for the next one.Comment

wish i could have made it to this event but was just too tired from zabiela/fancuilli and then freeland over memorial weekend. i was wondering if luke was going to come on earlier but based on what i read above, i guess the answer is NO. i have to agree with tony...only 2 hours (or less) is not enough time for a good dj to build things up properly. i would love to hear a guy like fair play from start to finish. have never been to indebleu but it looks cool from what ive seen??? im curious to hear more about that scene. i also agree that the basement in andalu was awesome! very small place but rocked.Comment
