What's bad is that a first year student in South Asia studies has to bring up something like this. To be fair, I'm sure it's been thought throught at some level, but there should be some administration position on this.
Even worse are the Republican candidates running for President next year fromt the recent debates I've seen. Bush may actually be the best Republican candidate again if he could run.
