Fair enough, I let my festering aggravation to your consistently negative attitude (even in a fucking thank you thread) get the better of me. Not to mention your comment of me trying to "beg" for a donation is fucking way outta line.

you never would've seen that "way outta line" comment had you not went way outta line by insulting me, the midwest, and the "negative humor" of me pointing out that those with money should try to donate to other causes if possible. something I find neither negative nor humorous.

Could you not have started another thread inviting everyone to donate to a more meaningful cause ? Did you think you dropped an epiphany to everyone else by posting that insensitive picture like that in a thank you thread ?

And you automatically assumed that all of us on here are blind to the poverty and plight of the poor and displaced on this planet and your wonderful post would have been the birth of noble movememnt to suddenly help the needy?

I dont know about everyone else, but just so you know, my family may not be the richest in the world but we do our part by donating money to organizations that help support children in war displaced countries under the $1 a day program, we donate towards the welfare of blind orphans in India who have no future (last year my family helped 25 blind orphan women get married and helped them setup small, income generating businesses so they can afford to spend the rest of their lives with a sense of purpose and some sort of financial independence), and we even donate towards old age homes for older couples who are kicked out of their own homes by their young unappreciative children.

So please spare me the idea that you somehow had a far "nobler" purpose in doing what you did, especially in a thread thats appreciating the generosity in others and not intended to drive home a sense of guilt.

I agree. you should've considered whether I cared about what your family donates to before wasting your time trying to make yourself and your family look good. you aren't the only person out there that donates to charities.
