i too will vote for ron paul. but why in the hell is he running under the republican ticket? perhaps it allows him to get face time with the main news outlets, and once the dickwads in the hardly conservative GOP camp tap Romney, he'll jump out and say... i'm still going for broke as an independent. I dont' know election law that well, but I imagine, and hope, this is how it plays out...

Ron Paul was on the Daily Show the other night and essentially he realized that it's difficult, if not impossible, to run outside the two parties. He also falls in line with most of the Republican ideology (you know the old one about small gov't, fiscal responsibility and all that they've forgotten about the last few terms), aside from militarily where he's libertarian all the way and only believes in military for defense...as he said lead by example, not by the sword.

It is not difficult, but impossible to run AND win outside of the two parties.

And in 10-15 years from now, it will be impossible to run outside of the democrat party and win. We will have a 1 party system once all of the immigrants are voting.
