Admittedly that interview would have been a collection of ridiculous responses all bundled together and presented for the rest of the world to laugh at. Having said that I think they (The Chaser, probably Australia?s best satirical prime time show) were trying to draw a line between what is supposedly a passionate and justified decision to engage and invade based on the public conscience and that very same public conscience not having a clue as to the real reason for ?The War on Terror.?
We live in misinformed times, amongst misinformed people, surely when these very same people are responsible for electing those who choose to make decisions that will have a far reaching impact on the rest of the world, then we the informed and aware should also have the right to look/judge/laugh?.
Example 1 ? Americans Interviewed on Iraq
Example 2 ? Americans Interviewed on Australia
Example 3 ? Americans Interviewed on the world in general v1.1
Example 4 ? Americans Interviewed on the world in general v1.2
Example 5 ? Americans Interviewed on the world in general v1.3
Now don?t get me wrong, I?m sure there will be just as many idiotic responses on the streets of Sydney or London, or will there?!
