It's a real shame that he's not on the same level these days, but the man has got my respect nevertheless!!
It's funny how i'm still eager to listen to his new sets, somehow expecting that he will start playing some great music again beacause i know (and this past work of he's confirms it)that he's more than capable of doing that.When Oakenfold was in the mood he delivered, there was no mistake about it......and the crowd was always going wild.I couldn't belive my ears when i first heard his perfomance @ Creamfields 2000 on the Essential Mix, when he played Delerium - Silence and everybody was screaming and singing, it must have been an amazing moment to all who were there at the time.

On the Shadow Lounge mix, which track of that list is the one that kicks off around the 41 minute mark? That and Antidote - Eclipse are probably my two favorite Oakie records of all time... many thanks in advance.

I have all of these but this thread reinvigorated my interest in those mixes. Really good stuff. The tracks that pass as trance nowadays are terrible, as is Oakenfold. Too bad.
