How bout the CUBs coming on STRONG and picking up Jason Kendall. Ben Sheets going down for the brew crew isnt good at all and I think the Cubs will take to division.
^ tend to agree with you although i hate admitting that. baseball is cyclical, though. so we'll see if the cubs can keep up the pace. for their sake, i hope the owners let mark cuban purchase the cubs. he'll definitely get them headed in the right direction.

The guy made Magic Johnson and Chevy Chase look like fucking rock stars and would give Muhammed Ali a run for his money in ego. I don't think I could bear if he were in Chicago, for a whole host of reasons unrelated to the fact that he'd stock their team (we all know that the Cubs will find a way to blow it anyway).
I want Cuban in baseball because i pretty much can't stand our commissioner, most of the ownership, and all the holier than thou higher ups in baseball. If for nothing else, it's good than just to have Cuban piss off Bud Selig every day.
thats exactly why i doubt he'll ever be an mlb owner... the majority of the owners these days have sticks up their asses and are only focused on how THEY can get richer and not on how to improve baseball. it's sad.
