yeah that was in cleveland at a great club called Moda. There really aren't places in columbus that would be right for him. There is one club that has a good enough sound system for him, it's an old church called BOMA. Bar of Modern Art...believe me, there isn't much modern art in there.

I do, I flew 2400 miles round trip from fla to catch him in my hometown, they even still has his name running on the digital sign on top of moda....only to read on the door that he cancelled cuz he had the sniffles, my boy and i then high-tailed it to cbus to catch lawler

An update from the promoter...
Picked Diggers up last night, he got in at 10:49pm. He is all amped for Cleveland, no joke! He brought up the cancelled date I had him for in 2002 @ moda and said: "I have an extra special gig set for tomorrow mate".
It is going to be a good night people! Last minute tickets still available at Poo-Bas and wantickets.com. When we cut those off, you will only be able to purchase at the door. Please get them pre-sale!Comment

It was tight, Diggers played real good, I asked him right before he started if he would bust out some deep and dark stuff, but he said no he thought that might drive the crowd away
, so he played alot of uplifting stuff (sounded alot like Sasha)
Great crowd and vibe, nice outdoor venue.

WOW. that space for where he was playing doesn't look that big. Maybe 500-600 people there from what the photos show.
I wonder if it might help him come back to ohio more in the future.Comment
