suggesting that there were ties between saddam and al qaeda, while knowing they in actuality hated each other and all at the same time as we were fighting al qaeda in afghanistan because of 9-11 is intentionally misleading and highly suggestive, regardless of the fact that they never actually said saddam was involved in 9-11. It was a natural logical progression for people to make and the administration never corrected the misunderstanding, all the while knowing the misunderstanding was out there and in fact they completely preyed on this misunderstanding in getting us into Iraq. They're just as guilty as having said it explicitly.
