I've been a huge fan of the boys from the start and on first impression, I really like the album. Sounds like they're finally back into their ole NY groove. Not their best album, but lyrically it's up there. It just leaves a bit to be desired musically, imo. Some tight beats and all and some fresh samples in there, but it doesn't sound anywhere as "layered" and deep as their other albums. All in all, it's nice to hear the boys sounding like their old selves. Can't wait to see them again

It was ok, I'm not rushing out to buy it or anything. I prefer their older stuff, and this CD just had too many NY related songs, and stupid political propaganda. I mean they don't stop, 2-3 of the songs are about nothing other then NY and thats all they talk about.

They claim to love NY so much, talk about 9/11 and how it sucked and then the next song is about how we shouldn't be at war with other countries, and learn understanding of other cultures. Crap. I understand that Islamic terrorists have waged war on us, and the entire western world. And 9/11 was proof. Ignorance and contradictorary nonsensicle rabling throughout.

Why can't they just be themselves like the old days of the Jazzy goodness on the two Grand Royale albums.

I have not heard it yet, but geez it took them what 5 years to make a new album? and from what I am reading it is avg at best.
They are gettin up there in age...Probably mid to late 30's
There def past there prime....I would def go some them live though.
