Using Nero to convert avi films to dvd!

I'm trying to do the above but keep on getting failed errors saying low on virtual memory! I've gone into the performance settings and increased custom settings max to 4000MB, but no joy!

Any advice? It has worked before I did one only a week or two ago and the only thing I can think of thats changed since then, is that I've installed 'service pack 2'!!!

    Try to download DVD2SVCD program.

This is a very useful program to make dvd, scvd, vcd from any kind of avi.
You can find some help at this webpage:
http://doom9.net at the faq or at the guides menu.

I hope this will solve your problem!

Tmepeg is very easy, but it take a long time to transcode mpeg4 (divx, xvid) to mpeg2

You can use nero vision express to convert your avis to DVD. It?s a free tool if you have a Nero 6 Serial. You can download it on cdnet....

You will also be able to create DVD Menus and Slideshows with this tool
