From the parties I've been to recently, my guess is that the big minimal guys are more likely than the trance guys to still play some records. I've seen Richie, Loco Dice, Luciano, Steve Bug, Baby Ford, Michael Mayer, Alexi Delano and Joel Mull all drop wax in their sets - and as best as I could tell they were some actual records, not just Serato. But yeah, the long term trend is downward

The majority of great tunes are not on beatport. That's the great thing about that place. It's for the grannies.

^ ^ You ever gone to a used shop, garage sales or the local Goodwill? I'm not kidding. You find some real gems there but if you're not interested in buying them, search online on various servers, p2p places or just word of mouth. There's an endless supply of great tunage out there. Mmmm tuna.

i disagree jenks. money is needed to have the label survive and when it runs out so will the label. unless the label has a pool of money in which they can keep it real, in this case keep in vinyl. I dont see it happening as the economics don't meet the supply and demand for vinyl with dance music. hiphop vinyl I can see it, with electronic no.
