been listening to a lot of Cox's late 90's mixes recently, and was hoping someone could post/link any of his essential mixes. His Space, Ibiza set is easily one of my favourite e-mixes. Also, I used to have an Oakenfold cd from when he played in Austin back in 2001. I'm pretty sure it start's with Lostit.com's 'Animal', and a few tracks later plays Tyrantanic by Breeder. Was hoping someone could help me find it as well.
Thanks in advance!
you could put an Emfire release on for 2 minutes and you would be a sleep before it finishes - Chunky
it's RA. they'd blow their load all over some stupid 20 minute loop of a snare if it had a quirky flange setting. - Tiddles
Note I have had most of these since they came out and haven't touched them, so the file naming and id3 tags etc arent the best, but thats all I got. If someone wants to upload the stuff I dont have or better/1 part versions of the below feel free and I will update this post to reflect that.
enjoy.
The Oakenfold Essential Mix
actually, the only sets i've found so far per Coxy is on that UMP3 site (which i've been using for the past few days). The only problem is that, because i'm not a member of rapidshare, i have to wait a rediculous amount of time to be able to download another set. Plus, they don't have any of the 2001 or 1998 sets on there...
and, that Oakenfold set from Austin isn't an essential mix, but yeah, that's definitely a good thread to find some of his peak work. Thanks for the help though!!!!
