    Metallica

They are in Europe atm for a few weeks for a short tour of festivals and stadiums.

Setlist from last night in Portugal is just plain ridiculous...

    Creeping Death
    For Whom The Bell Tolls
    Rid The Lightning
    Disposable Heroes
    The Unforgiven
    ...And Justice For All
    The Memory Remians
    The Four Horsemen
    Orion
    Fade To Black
    Master of Puppets
    Battery
    - - - -
    Sad But True
    Nothing Else Matters
    One
    Enter Sandman
    - - - -
    Am I Evil?
    Seek and Destroy

Seeing them in Helsinki on july 15th... Can't fucking wait!

That would probably more entertaining then the show would be. Metallica is a bunch of old men that need to hang it up. They used to be good but the new sucks just sucks.

I have two shows from their tour last year and they are tightest they've been in more than ten years. Lars played great actually. James is also sounding better than he's probably ever sounded.

It's a shame that to play good music on their gigs it has to be atleast ten years old though.

probably they finally realized that materials from the last couple of albums sucked hence sticking to the older tracks

I love metallica. A few years ago they were going to play here, and the show was totally sold out.... a month before "the" night, they said "we?re too tired, we?ll cancel the rest of the tour"... that was not really heavy. Anyways, still waiting for them. sad but true.

As soon as he hangs the drumsticks up the arthritis will set in. So they've got to keep playing till the damage (no pun intended) is done.

Master of Puppets and Ride The Lightning are their best albums. Black Album, And Justice for All, and Kill'em all are good too. After that the albums were ok, but forgetable.

They used to be the cool, non-commercial band that wasn't played on the radio and would never release a music video. They cut their hair and it was all downhill from there. They attacked Napster and their own fans. What a disappointment they became.

they definatly went downhill after the black album....but from that set list in portugal seems like they are gettin away from playing there garbage songs....
