With Bonds at 750, it looks like barring a career ending injury, he's going to break the home run record at some point in the fairly near future. I'm going to be really curious to see he's received if he does it anywhere other than San Fran. He's actually going to be here in St. Louis starting on Friday, so if he happens to pick it up a notch between now and then, it could happen here.
That would actually be really interesting -- St. Louis is known for having fans who offer a warm reception to opposing players that have career milestones occur at Busch. Bonds, though, is a different creature, and I'd be really curious to see the reaction if he tied or set the record here. I'll be at the park on Friday -- if he happens to do it then (which I really doubt), he'll get the same reaction from me as any other opposing player who hits a home run off our pitching staff.
